What do I need to get started

Let's discuss what equipment you will need to get started.

Firstly you will need a digital advertising screen. This could be a vertical kiosk (usually a 55" inch screen) that is either stationary or on castors so that it can be relocated anywhere in the store.

Alternatively, you can use a landscape format TV or digital advertising screen. TV's are fine to use and are inexpensive and can be anything from 65" to 85" or larger. Turning the TV into the vertical plane will give you a portrait-oriented display.

A note about using domestic grade TV's. These are usually not rated for 24/7 use. However, when compared with commercial displays, the cost advantage makes this less of an issue, Domestic grade TV's have a brightness factor of around 350nits (c/dm2). This is a standard measurement of the brightness of the screen content. 350nits is fine for the low light environment inside a home. Professional digital displays have a brightness factor of around 700nits. This explains why digital displays appear so bright and vibrant and also why they are more expensive.

You MAY need a media player. It may be possible to install the required APP on an Android-based TV or digital screen, in which case a media player is not required. Alternatively, our systems can run on an inexpensive Amazon 4K TV stick that costs around $90.

Finally, you will need suitable mounting brackets at the chosen position. This could be a ceiling mounted pole or a fixed floor stand or wall mounted brackets that are either flush with the wall or can be extended and angled.

In most cases our systems connect via your in-store WiFi. It is important that the screens be positioned to get a strong WiFi signal. If this is not possible, we can install and configure a WiFi Access Point or even provide an independent 4G/5G internet connection for the digital screens.

We supply it all

Once you decide on what equipment you require, we supply and install and prepare the device/s to receive cloud content.
